After over 23 years as a Professional Harpist Claire has a wealth of experience providing beautiful live Harp music. She realises every event is special and unique and has over a thousand delighted customers.
Claire is highly regarded for the exceptionally beautiful sound she is able to create on the Harp and the emotion with which she plays. Claire read music at Royal Holloway University of London, majoring in Harp and graduating with BMus Hons. Whilst there she studied Harp under Charlotte Seale, Professor of Harp at the Guildhall School of Music. She continued her studies and achieved her ABRSM Diploma in Harp Performance. Now based in Bristol, Claire is in great demand and plays regularly for weddings, business and private events throughout Bristol, Bath, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Wiltshire, Somerset. South Wales and the South-West. Claire has a wide repertoire of Classical and Pop including songs by Adele, Beyoncé, Bublé, Carpenters, Coldplay, Jason Derulo, Elvis, Ellie Goulding, Elton John, Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Pachelbel, Wagner and many more! Claire is also an experienced harp teacher able to adapt her style to different types of pupils. She enjoys teaching the harp to pupils of all ages and abilities, both privately and at Badminton Girls’ School in Bristol.

Ruth Faber studied the harp at the Royal College of Music with Marisa Robles. Since then she has worked with the Royal Philharmonic, London Philharmonic, Philharmonia, London Symphony and BBC Symphony Orchestras, along with the English Chamber Orchestra and London Mozart Players. Regional orchestral work has included Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, Bournemouth Sinfonietta, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Welsh Opera and Birmingham Royal Ballet, a post she held before moving to the West Country.
Ruth’s busy solo schedule has featured recitals all over the UK and abroad, notably concerts at the Purcell Room, Wigmore Hall and Queen Elizabeth Hall in London. She has played concerti with the English Chamber Orchestra and Bournemouth Sinfonietta. Performances for television have seen her appear for BBC 1 and BBC 2 and also on BBC Radio 3 and BBC Radio 4. Teaching is an important part of Ruth’s life and she currently teaches at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, Wells Cathedral School, Junior Guildhall, Bristol and Bath Spa Universities. Ruth also holds her own residential childrens’ harp courses each summer. On a lighter note, Ruth has travelled the world playing for British Airways Promotions. |

Emma Graham is an accomplished, professional musician who has been delighting audiences with her exciting, skilled playing and relaxed performing style for over twenty five years.
Based in the beautiful Devon village of Kenn, near Exeter, she is in great demand, both as a concert soloist and as one of Devon, Cornwall and Somerset's most popular wedding entertainers. She is also one half of sparkling harp duo Harpe Noire Emma is also one of the region's leading harp teachers, bringing the harp to a new generation. |

Julia Hammersley is a Bristol based harpist who performs regularly with orchestras and ensembles in the region, including: Bristol Classical Players, Bristol Ensemble, Bristol Concert Orchestra, Brandon Hill Orchestra, Bath Symphony Orchestra and Bristol Opera. She is also one half of the flute and harp ensemble, Topaz, with Michelle Krawiec, as well as working with the Clarsach Society on small, 34 string harps.
She has been involved in running music workshops in various inner-city Bristol schools, Bristol Royal Children's Hospital, for the Bristol and West of England Clarsach Society and events for young children. She is keen to give people a chance to experience the harp and regularly takes a collection of small harps (clarsachs) to events to promote the harp.

I am a freelance harpist based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. I play the harp at weddings, corporate events, with orchestras & other music groups. I am also an experienced and sympathetic harp teacher who gives harp lessons from my home in Cheltenham. I play both classical and traditional music on the Concert and Celtic Harp. I was born in Abergavenny and began studying music in school, gaining Grade 8 with Distinction in both Harp and Piano. I studied the harp at Bristol University where I completed a BA (hons) in Music. I further developed my performing abilities by completing a Postgraduate Advanced Diploma in Harp Performance at the Royal Welsh College College of Music and Drama (Cardiff.)

Charlotte is a local harpist, who began learning the harp at the age of 10, and the following year was awarded a major music scholarship to Badminton School, Bristol. By the time she commenced the BMus course at Goldsmiths College, she had gained Grade 8 on the harp, flute, piano and saxophone. She also regularly competed in and won many Music Festivals and Eisteddfods in both Wales and England.
During her studies for her Postgraduate Diploma in Performance under Valerie Aldrich-Smith at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, she was awarded a 3 month exchange scholarship at Turin Conservatoire under the guidance of Gabriella Bosio. Since finishing her Diploma she has been teaching in both Gwent and Hereford and regularly performs as a soloist as well as with numerous orchestras, which have included the Tenerife Symphony Orchestra and in the Last Night of the Proms. Charlotte has also brought out 2 solo harp albums called ‘Strings Over Time’ and ‘Strings of Change’ as well as a harp and voice album called ‘There is My Love’ with Marianne Lihannah.

I started to play the harp at the age of 12 at the Conservatoire de Besancon, France with Madame Adloff and finished my studies after 8 years. I have been playing since in the UK, many residencies in Bath, Bristol and the South West. I enjoy playing for weddings and private functions and if possible happy to play request and make my own arrangements of modern songs.
