The Canterbury

The four partners here at Pilgrim Harps, have accrued well over 100 years of ‘harp-making’ experience. Our first priority throughout has been to obtain the finest possible sound in each instrument.

We had long held the conviction that we could take the 47 String Concert Grand Harp into a new level of excellence, incorporating the advantages of modern technology yet keeping our roots firmly in the traditional skills and values of the true craftsman.

Much of the modern technology remains unseen - we prefer it that way. Yet many skills are as old as harp making itself and take years to master.

For us, the most exciting aspect of all is the enormously responsive tone; a clear but full sound running evenly throughout the whole range of this harp.
