THE HARPSICLE

The Harpsicle is the only new harp we sell that is not made by ourselves. These instruments are made of solid maple by the Harpsicle Harp Co. a division of Wm. Rees Instruments, LLC. in the United States. These are not designed as high-end instruments but they have a pretty tone, are inexpensive and accessible. There are levers on all strings, allowing access to all common keys.

Strings: 26
Range: 1st G to 5th C
Height: 85cm, 33in
Extreme Width: 47cm, 18.5in
Weight: 1.9kg, 4lbs

Harp Therapy

The benefits of harp music as therapy are well documented. There are many excellent programmes that train musicians to play at the bedside, in many varied settings such as hospice, private homes, rehab units, hospitals etc. The Harpsicle Harp has been selected repeatedly for applications in these areas due to its tone and light-weight. Besides being a fun harp it has a serious side and over 90% of Harpsicle sales are to people that already own harps.
