The Progress Lever Harp
made its first appearance in 1982. It is a virtuoso lever harp with generous scope and prodigious resonance. Its design is slightly reminiscent of some of the early Welsh instruments, particularly the famous Welsh triple harp, but the compass of this harp is more closely allied to pedal harps. Long bass wire strings amply support the full, powerful tone. The frame is made from carefully seasoned maple. As with all the lever harps we make, the Progress comes with solid brass cam-action semitone levers fitted to every string.

"Thank you all for my Progress - I love it! It was such a surprise; I'm amazed you all managed to conduct the whole business in secret. It's really brilliant."
