Restoration
& Repair Restoration and repair is an important part of Pilgrim Harps' work. From the small accident to the major repair PILGRIM can restore your instrument to playing condition. Though our designs are pushing forward the sound capabilities of the harp, we are ever appreciative of the designs of the past. These instruments are worth restoring. We are very experienced in restoration and repair of the older instruments and are able to advise you as to the best course of action for each Harp. Some of our work is to repair old harps for enthusiasts who like the mellow resonant sound of the older instrument. This may be the 150 year old Grecian Erard or the 70 year old Lyon and Healy. We have the experience and enthusiasm to undertake this work from the basics to the full restoration and re-gilding of the harp to its former glory. |
